GENESIS

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:1

For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.
Gen 18:19

============================================================

EXODUS

You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments
Ex 20:5-6

=============================================================

LEVITICUS

You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.
Lev 19:15

=============================================================

DEUTERONOMY

And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good. Indeed heaven and the highest heavens belong to the LORD your God, also the earth with all that is in it. The LORD delighted only in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day. Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer. For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name. He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen. Your fathers went down to Egypt with seventy persons, and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of heaven in multitude.
Deut 10:12-22

Psalm 14:1

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Psalm 23

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

ISAIAH

Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faints.
Isaiah 1:5

Though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”
Isaiah 30:20

I am the LORD, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity;
Isaiah 45:6-7

There is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth!
Isaiah 45:21

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’
Isaiah 46:10

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:5-12

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7

Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins
Isaiah 58:1

1 Behold, the LORD ’s hand is not † shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will † not hear. 3 For † your hands are defiled with a blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity. 4 No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in † empty words and speak lies; † They conceive b evil and bring forth iniquity. 5 They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; He who eats of their eggs dies,

MATHEW

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:5 (counter to prosperity)

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Mat 5:10-12 (counter to prosperity)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Mat 6:19

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Mat 7:5

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Mat 7:7

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Mat 7:13-14

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.
Mat 7:15-16

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me
Mat 7:21-23

Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
Mat 7:24 & 26

Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.
Mat 8:20 (counters prosperity)

Do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;
Mat 10:19

You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Mat 10:22

There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
Mat 10:26

Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.
Mat 10:27

Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mat 10:28

Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Mat 12:31

At the end of the age,The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 15:19

It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
Mat 19:23-24

“What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age? And Jesus answered and said to them:

“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Mathew 24:3-14

The Great Tribulation
“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Mat 24:16-28

Coming Son of Man
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Mat 24:29-31

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Mat 28:19-20

Mark 8:34-36

What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Your faith has made you well
Mat 9:22

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:16-18

LUKE

The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.

JOHN

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us
John 1:14

Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
John 3:16-21

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
John 3:36

He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
John 5:24

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:44

The world hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.
John 7:7

Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
John 7:24

If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6

He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
John 14:12-13

If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:15-18

If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
John 14:28

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
John 15:7-8

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.
John 20:23
John 20:23 is not saying that Catholic priests have the authority to forgive sins. It is saying that Christian disciples have the authority to pronounce what sins “have been forgiven.”

This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
Acts 10:34-35

God commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness.
Acts 17:30-31

ROMANS

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:18-19

Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools.
Rom 1:20-22

God gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.
Rom 1:24-25

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
Rom 1:26-27

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
Rom 1:28

Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Rom 1:29-32

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Rom 2:28-29

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Rom 3:23

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:8

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Rom 5:19

Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:4

Our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
Rom 6:6

Do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Rom 6:12

Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Rom 6:14

Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
Rom 6:15

Though you were slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. Having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Rom 6:17-18

Having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
Rom 6:22

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom 6:23

When we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now We have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit.
Rom 7:5-6

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Rom 8:13 (counter to prosperity)

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:18 (counter to prosperity)

All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Rom 8:28

As it is written, Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.
Rom 9:13

For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.
Rom 9:17

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Rom 10:9

Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
Rom 10:13

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Rom 10:17

Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
Rom 11:20-21

Consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
Rom 11:22

Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God.
Rom 12:1

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Rom 12:2

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
Rom 12:9

Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble.
Rom 12:16

If you do evil, be afraid
Rom 13:4

He who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Rom 13:8

Cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
Rom 13:12-14

As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:11

Let us not judge one another anymore
Rom 14:13

I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed.
Rom 15:18

1CORINTHIANS

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1Cor 1:18

God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise
1Cor 1:27

He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
1Cor 2:15

The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
1Cor 6:9-10

Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
1Cor 10:15

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1Cor 10:13

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1Cor 13:1-13

============================================================

2CORINTHIANS

Our gospel is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2Cor 4:3-4

We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2Cor 4:14

We walk by faith, not by sight.
2Cor 5:7

Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
2Cor 5:11

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; all things have become new.
2Corinth 5:17

Come out from among them and be separate.
2Corinth 6:17

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
2Corinth 8:9 (prosperity gospel)

By an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality.
2Corinth 8:14 (counters prosperity)

Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
2Cor 10:3-5

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
2Cor 11:13-15

Lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
2Cor 12:7 (counters prosperity)

GALATIANS

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16

If a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
Galatians 6:1

EPHESIANS

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Ephes 2:8-9

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
Ephes 5:11

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.
Ephes 6:10-19

And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.
Ephes 6:19

COLASSIANS

Put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.

At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Phil 2:10-11

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Phil 4:8

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Phil 4:13

2THESSALONIANS

It is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thes 1:8

If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.
2Thes 3:10

Because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved, and for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned.
2Thes 10:10-11

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
2Thes 10:9-12

2Tim 2:22

Avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.

A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility, correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
2Tim 2:24-25

That they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
2Tim 2:26

In the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
2Tim 3:1-5

All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
2Tim 3:12

Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
2Tim 3:13

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them
2Tim 3:14

The Holy Scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Tim 3:15

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2Tim 3:16-17

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching.
2Tim 4:2

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

1John 1:8

If we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Christ’s 2nd Coming – Christ on a Horse
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:11-16

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

The mark of the Beast is coming very soon as a solution to pestilence, most likely in the form of a forced vaccination with tracking capability. The people of Israel are forced to stay in their homes due to pestilence for the first time in 3000 years since the threat of the angel of death taking their first born. God shut down all our idols and other things that take our attention away from Him …… sports, concerts, Hollywood, shops, businesses, travel. It’s happening so fast now. Repent and turn to Christ while you can. Last call!

I found a small group of young men in Florida who are following Jesus like the apostles did in the early days. Very similar to AA, there are no leaders, only trusted servants. They have no fancy building, music, 501c3, or tithing supporters. They all earn money outside of the ministry, study scripture and proclaim God, and attempt to reach lost souls together.

Taking the money out, of the ministry, brings God back in.

Think about it. 10 tithers earning $70k, brings $70k non-taxable dollars, 100 tithers $700k, 1000 tithers $7 million dollars per year. Television and radio has enabled many church leaders to reach huge audiences amassing hundreds of millions of dollars allowing them to build huge treasures on earth owning a fleet of private jets like Ken Copeland and private yachts like Joel Osteen. Most of the well known church leaders today have fortunes in the tens and even hundreds of millions of dollars.

This profitable business model has attracted charismatic entrepreneurs focused on building their own fortunes with little allegiance to God.

In fact, the ‘ear tickling’ message they espouse has little, if anything, to do with the God of the Bible. The biblical gospel is not pleasing to flesh, and does not attract tithers with open checkbooks.

For example, Jesus said, ‘The world hates me because I testify of it that it’s works are evil’. ‘All who desire to live Godly in Christ will suffer persecution’ 2Tim 3:12

In addition, to maintain tax free 501c3 status, the message must be pleasing to government. Preaching against biblical sins such as homosexuality would result in loss of tax free status, as well as being removed from broadcasting on television and radio.

The blueprint for building a popular, profitable church runs in direct opposition to God. We can’t please God and man at the same time.

As a result, the true, unfiltered, full counsel of God, is rarely found on television, radio or in the popular churches.

Most of the ‘church system’ has become corrupted. The watered down message espoused by the corrupt church has produced many lost souls.

These young men in Florida started preaching the scriptural Word of God on college campuses, and to people standing in line at bars. Later they started proclaiming at these corrupt churches that are misleading followers.

Now these young men have determined that, due to the corrupt church system, we have a society of people that believe they are Christians who are going to heaven, but they are deceived. The gate is narrow and few find it.

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me
Mat 7:21-23

Now these young men are committed to reaching lukewarm Christians and teaching them their true purpose in God. If interested, they can be found in Jacksonville, FL on the Untamed Truth YouTube channel.

We are living in the end times so close to Christ’s return. Time is very short.

God desires that every man be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. What should we be doing to proclaim the true kingdom of God right now?

For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.
Rom 9:17

SHARE GOSPEL
Christ died for the sin of the world. He took our punishment so we wont have to go to hell. We broke God’s laws and Jesus paid the fine so God can give us everlasting life, if we repent from our sin and put our faith in Jesus.

IN LOVE – It is our role to administer freedom to people through the Holy Spirit, by showing them their value and purpose in God. Instead of just pointing out the trash, pull out the treasure so they can see who they are, so they can live as they ought to live. Then we can start correcting in patience and kindness.

THE BIBLE
The Bible tells the story of how God chose Abraham, redeemed his offspring from Egypt, and created a new Israel by means of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Power of the Spirit
The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age
Titus 2:11-12

Spiritual Warfare
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
2Cor 10:3-5
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:10

False Teachers
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Romans 1:18

His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools.

Romans 1:26-278

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
Romans 1:28

Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them

RICH MAN – Prosperity Gospel

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Mat 6:19
What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Isaiah 30:20
The rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.
James 1:10-11
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.
James 5:1-3
You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.
James 5:5
Do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
1Pete 4:12-13
But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
Acts 8:20-22

Under the new covenant, it is the Spirit who is our blessing (Eph. 1:3; Gal. 3:14), not material opulence or unfettered security.
Those who have the Spirit are promised hardship until Christ returns (John 16:33; 2 Tim. 3:13).
The Lord may increase our territory, but he also may bless us by taking it away.
When reading Jabez’s prayer we must consider the covenant context and beware of seeking Christ mainly for something else he can give us.

TRINITARIANISM
God can’t be tempted
2) God cant die
3) God has never been seen
So Jesus can’t be God, but Jesus was a manifestation of God

https://www.learnreligions.com/faith-groups-that-reject-trinity-doctrine-700367

Non-Trinitarianism
The only Godhead is God the father. Jesus is the son of God, not God the son.
One Diety – God the father
Son of God – Jesus (God manifested in flesh)
Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit)
Not 3 Gods, distinct persons, personalities or entities

If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
John 14:28

the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2Cor 4:3-4

When we see Jesus we see God.
the Father, Son, and Spirit are actually one person in three manifestations or three attributes of God, God is father, son, spirit, healer, provider, comforter
Not 1+1+1=3 gods

Trinitarianism – One God and the Father, Son, and Spirit are actually three distinct personalities
1x1x1=1
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
1John 5:7

https://www.christiancourier.com/articles/1488-biblical-doctrine-of-the-godhead-the

The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three gods but only one God. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, the Spirit is not the Father, but each is God individually and yet they are together the one true God of the Bible.

This plurality of God is presented in 2 Corinthians 13:14: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [the Son], and the love of God [the Father], and the communion of the Holy Spirit [the Holy Spirit] be with you all. Amen”
Trinitarianism conclusion- The Bible is quite clear—there is one true God, and He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is salvation in no other God. This Trinitarian God is eternal as stated in Isaiah.

I was taught that you must believe in the doctrine of the Trinity in order to be a real Christian. This determination was made long ago by post-apostolic church fathers, and both the Catholic Church and the Protestant Church made it official.

Non-Trinitarians – Morman’s, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christian Scientists, Oneness Pentecostals,

5) “Can the Trinity Be Proven in the Bible?”

You have seen four questions never truly answered at your church—and proof that the teachings of your minister completely contradict the plain words of the Bible. Actually, the problem goes much deeper. Each week you are being taught the lessons, teachings and doctrines of a false god. Shocking as it may sound, the deity your minister teaches about is none other than the “god of this world”—packaged as the trinity.

How important is it that you are worshipping the true God of the Bible? Does it matter if you are off, even a little?

Think. If you worship the true God, but have other doctrines wrong, He can guide you to proper understanding. However, if you are wrong about which god to worship, you will never be led to understand other true biblical teachings. In fact, you will be led into more and more error! This is the single greatest reason all you have read so far is hidden from mankind. Your minister has been deceived by the devil into accepting a concept that he does not understand—that cannot be understood, and he will tell you not to try!

Ask your pastor to explain the trinity. Have him show you where God calls Himself a trinity. When he attempts to stretch verses, which require leaps of logic to draw any parallels, ask yourself: Would God leave something as important as His true identity so vague and difficult to prove? Of course not!

The word “trinity” is found nowhere in the Bible, and neither is the doctrine. In fact, finding no biblical evidence to support it, translators inserted a passage into the New Testament that had never existed before. This was their attempt to justify this teaching. Any honest minister would readily admit this. The inserted phrase (in italics) is found in I John 5: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one” (vs. 7-8).

The section first appeared in a manuscript written in the 8th century. Translators added it because the Bible makes no case for the trinity. Instead of correcting their teachings, they modified the Bible to suit their needs. Will you stand for such deceit on something as important as the nature of the true God?

NOTES

Jesse – [email protected], 203-444-1912

Another interesting fact. People in the crowd, angry at the preachers, say ‘You’re preaching hate. Dont condemn us, God loves everybody’

Does God love everybody?

No. God doesnt love everybody and everything.

Who does God really love?

Jesse said he’s here to preach God’s holy hatred for sin. Says there are two types of people in the world. God loving sin haters and sin loving God haters. Jesse says if you dont hate sin, you’re not a Christian, and you’re going to hell, justifiably so. When asked if he sins, Jesse says he chooses not to sin. He doesn’t say that he never sins.

=============================================================

EVERYONE SINS EVERYDAY

When students say you have to sin ….. everyone sins, Jesse says you’re too pessimistic and quotes scripture teaching how to overcome sin with the Holy Spirit. Jesse says you can overcome sin. It’s a choice.

Grace gives us the power to overcome sin

Jesus gives us grace to repent of sin and receive the mercy of God, but if we keep sinning, persisting in the pathway to destruction, we’re going to hell, and you have nobody to blame but ourself.

=============================================================

God is merciful and forgiving, but to have the mercy of God we have to meet certain conditions…..
1- confess the sin , admit that it’s wrong (can’t defend it), then stop it

Are we born sinners? No. Sin was brought into this world with Adam when God took away the tree of life, but babies are not born sinners, they all choose to sin later.

Is God all forgiving? No. There is an unforgivable sin…..blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

I care enough about you to correct you. Im here to tell you what the Bible says. Im right and you’re wrong and we have the Bible to back it up. I believe you can actually be saved.

Jews need to be Jews for Jesus, or they reject Christ like those that killed Him

When you choose sin you become a child of the devil. It’s not worth being a homosexual and burning in hell forever.

If you’re not a Christian you’ve nothing done anything good in your life

Not all sorority girls are whores, just most of them

Bible says, wives submit yourselves to your husband. The female is the weaker vessel.

Teaches to take responsibility and against victim mentality – blaming on the white man,

Black privilege – access to black college fund,
Jesse says his ancestors are slaves – he’s Greek and they were enslaved by the Romans, and his Irish ancestry were enslaved by the English
white men in America ended slavery along time ago, but slavery still exists in Africa today,
Slavery isn’t racism , it’s a result of war, the conquerors always enslaved the losers
But many of you are slaves to sin, addicted to alcohol, drugs, sex, habitual liars, stealing,

Jesus came to set the captives free so you could become homo no mo

Jesse warns about the great day coming – the Day of the Lord, when every sin you committed will be brought to the light, and God will judge you for every thought, deed and motive of the heart

You’re living in a day of grace where you can come to Jesus, repent of your sin and receive the mercy of God, but if you keep sinning, persisting in the pathway to destruction, you’re going to hell, and you have nobody to blame but yourself.

MOST RIGHTEOUS MEN IN BIBLE – Noah, Daniel, and Job

Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
Genesis 6:9

Noah, Job & David, John the Baptist parents, were called perfect in the bible.

THE MOST RIGHTEOUS MEN?
Who does God consider most righteous among men?
It would have to be someone who had great faith because without faith, we cannot please God.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
—Hebrews 11:6
That being said, who is mentioned in Hebrews 11, the “Faith Chapter?”
Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sara, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and Rahab are all mentioned and expounded upon. But the three men God found most righteous can be found in Ezekiel 14.
“Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.”
—Ezekiel 14:13-14
Daniel (“for thou art greatly beloved“), Noah (“Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God“) and Job (“was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.“) were the three men used by God Himself as examples of righteousness.
“Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.”—Ezekiel 14:20
Noah, Daniel and Job were the three men God used for examples of righteousness among men.

Long Version I Exodus 20

1-Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

2-Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3-Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

4-Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5-Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

6-Thou shalt not kill.

7-Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8-Thou shalt not steal.

9-Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10-Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
———————

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ “This is the first and great commandment

And the second is: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Allah is Satan
by
Usama Dakdok

According to the Bible, Allah is Satan. Qur’an 1:1 indicates that Muslims worship the god of this world who is Satan who is known as the best deceiver and who leads people astray.

Let us look at what both the Bible and the Qur’an say to prove this point.

Qur’an 1:1 states that Allah is the god (lord) of this world:
1The praise be to Allah, the lord of the worlds. Allah is Satan as it is written throughout the Qur’an. The Bible states in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world is Satan: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Both verses in Qur’an 3:54 and 8:30 state that Allah is the best deceiver:
And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver. What does the Bible say about this? Revelation 20:10 tells us: And the devil that deceived them…

Qur’an 35:8 states that Allah leads people astray:
8…So surely Allah leads astray whom he wills and guides whom he wills. Does God lead people astray? No. Then who does the Bible say wants to lead people astray and keep them from having eternal life through Jesus Christ? Satan leads people astray. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us that Satan walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and Revelation 12:9 states: The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray…

Qur’an 38:85 and 11:119 both state that Allah desires to fill hell with people:
85…surely I will fill hell from you and from those who followed you from among them together. 119 …“I will surely fill hell with the jinn and the people together.”

What does the Bible say about people? God wants us to be with Him in heaven. He even sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for our sins so that people can have a way to live eternally in heaven with Him. He does not want any to perish. John 3:16 states:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

More characteristics of Allah

Allah is not God because Allah is proud. Qur’an 59:23 states:
23 He is Allah. There is no god except him… the proud. But the God of the Bible is meek and lowly in heart. Matthew 11:29 states: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart….

Allah is a seditionist. Qur’an 25:20 states:
20…and we made some of you to be a sedition to some others…

Allah is a seducer. Qur’an 11:34 states:
34 And my advice will not profit you, if I desire to advise you, if Allah was desiring to seduce you….

Allah is abominable. Qur’an 10:100 states:
100 And it was not for a soul to believe except by Allah’s permission, and he will lay the uncleanness on those who will not understand…

Allah is wrathful. Qur’an 2:59 states:
59 So those who were unjust changed the saying to what had not been said to them, so we sent down on those unjust a wrath from the heaven because they were transgressors.

See also Qur’an 7:162.
Allah is a misleader. Qur’an:4:88 states:
88…And whomever Allah leads astray, so you will not find for him a way.

But the God of the Bible is a true leader. See Proverb 3:5-6.
Allah is a schemer. Qur’an 68:45 states:
45…surely my scheme is firm. Also Qur’an 86:16 states: 16and I am scheming a scheme.

Allah spreads hate. Qur’an 5:14 states:
14…so we have stirred up enmity and hatred among them….

The more we read the Qur’an, the more we know that Allah is Satan.

PRAYER OF ST FRANCIS

Lord make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life
Amen

Once Saved, Always Saved

If, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
2Peter 2:20

The scripture that is most commonly quoted to support this doctrine is John 10:28: “They shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” On the surface this can seem like it is true that once saved, we are always saved.
Indeed, no one can snatch them out of Jesus’ hand, but they can put themselves outside of Jesus’ hand. In chapter John 15:4 Jesus exhorts His disciples, “Abide in Me, and I in you.” And further in John 15:6 He says, “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Salvation is not unconditional

Every promise of salvation in the scripture has a condition. If we fulfil the conditions the promises are ours. For example, we read in Colossians 1:21-23: “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight if indeed you continue in the faith …” Do you see the condition? “If indeed you continue in the faith.” In 1 Timothy 1:19 Paul refers to some, who by rejecting a good conscience, had made a shipwreck of their faith—clearly not once saved, always saved.

In Hebrews 3:12-14 we are warned: “Beware, brethren lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today’, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin”. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.” Do you see the condition again? “If we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.”

We know that if we sin we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. Yes, if we are genuinely sorry and repentant there is an abundance of forgiveness in Jesus. But the danger is that by repeatedly yielding to the same temptation a hardening sets in. We are not as sorry as when we first fell in this sin, become more and more hardened and finally end up with “an evil heart of unbelief” and lose our confidence. We depart from the living God. We put ourselves outside of His hand.

We don’t need to fall in temptation

So how can we prevent such a hardening taking place, when our experience is that we repeatedly fall in temptation? The good news of the gospel is that we don’t need to repeatedly fall in temptation. “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:15-16. It is clear from these verses that our time of need is when we are tempted.

Jesus overcame and now He can help us to overcome. “For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.”Hebrews 2:18. “Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.” 1 Peter 4:1.

So let us not allow ourselves to be lulled into a false sense of security that we are once saved, always saved, and put our salvation in jeopardy, but rather do as Paul exhorts in Philippians 2:12: “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Let us make our calling and election sure! (2 Peter 1:10)

==========================
How bout that, I see what you mean, u might be right, I’m sorry you feel that way
===========================

Don’t be deceived by the anti-Semitic sounding title. I listened to the entire message. Key points:
1- Dont persecute, but Love the Jew, pray for their salvation, pray that they come to believe in the name of the only begotten son of God, as we pray for all lost souls.
2 – the gift of the promise land was always conditional on Jews obeying God. It was never intended to be gifted on bloodline alone
3 – the lesson of genealogy is that bloodlines aren’t pure – Jews have gentile blood and Gentiles have Jewish blood, so God didnt give an unconditional gift based on bloodline alone
4 – If it’s true that the Talmud blasphemes Jesus (I haven’t read it) then it can’t be the Word of God, if Judaism teaches that it’s ok to lie, that there is no hell, that evolution is true, that the Bible is not the true Word of God, that Jesus was a heretic, the Jews are deceived.

==========================

What is the difference between soul and spirit?

Adam was created from the dust of the earth and became a living soul. Because of this, our senses, which are contained in our souls, are attuned to the earth. That is why our feelings shift and change according to what is happening around us. Everything that is of the earth is unsteady and changeable, which is why a person who allows their soul to control their life is never at rest. Through the soul – through my senses and feelings – I am in contact with people. Someone who lives according to the soul is always in unrest with regard to what other people think and say about him.

Through my spirit I am in contact with God. However, when I am soulish I live according to my understanding, my senses, which are earthly, and my body is used to serve this world. Then my spirit is also filled with that which is of this world, with the result that I have little or no contact with God. Salvation in Christ is meant to change this relationship so that I become spiritual and heavenly instead of soulish and earthly. The result is a life of faith instead of a life according to my human understanding.

The intention is that our spirit is to be made alive so that God can speak to us; we should live for Him and for the heavenly things. Then we find rest for our souls. The heavenly things are eternal and unchangeable. When we live before God’s face, we are free from people and the unrest that comes from living before their face.

God’s Word: A two-edged sword

This is where God’s Word is to do a work in us. It is sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces and divides between soul and spirit and discerns the thoughts and counsels of the heart. This is written in connection with entering into rest.

We usually judge situations according to our feelings and human reasoning; but if I have begun to seek God, I open myself to God’s Word. It discerns the thoughts of the heart and pierces and divides between soul and spirit – between that which is earthly (human) and which I absorb in my soul, and that which is spiritual and heavenly, which I receive into my spirit. I have to believe the Word and be obedient to it, and then my soul is poured out. (Isaiah 53:12)

For example, the word “Overcome evil with good” goes right against our human feelings and our human reasoning; but if we believe the Word and are obedient to it we enter into rest. Then we will experience that God’s wisdom is greater than our senses. There is also the word to forgive the person who sins against you seven times seventy each day. If you are soulish, you will preserve that which is earthly, and your honor and your heart will make plans as to what you should do with such a person and you will also seek the opinions of family and friends. Rather let God’s Word in to pierce and divide between what you are absorbing through your senses – especially through your feelings – and the wisdom that is from above, which you absorb through your spirit. Live by faith and not according to your human reasoning; then you will enter into rest.

Becoming spiritually minded

Peter cared for Jesus, but he only had a sense for the things of men, which is to spare yourself and your own. This is the direction in which people have exercised their senses and have gained understanding. Satan has access to this earthly soul, and the result is a terrible unrest. Jesus said, “Get behind Me, Satan!” Jesus had a sense for the things of God, which was to lay His life down. Now He wants to make our spirit alive as well so we can receive the wisdom that is from above, which is first and foremost pure, etc. (James 3:17-18)

The result is a life of faith in which we hold fast to the Word against our own human reasoning and present our body in the service of God. Then our soul, which is earthly and restless, is poured out, and we become spiritually minded and enter into rest in God.

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks … from heaven. … Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Hebrews 12:25,29.

All unrest, complaining, sighing, and anxiety stems from the soulish man who fights for his life. The spiritual man lives by faith in God’s Word. All things serve him for good. He has a mind for laying down his life, and he rests in God. What a glorious life and peace this is – a kingdom that cannot be moved.

Sexual Morality

Hi Mark

While many teach that it is an “acceptable lifestyle to God” as you correctly mentioned, the Bible is very clear on how God views homosexuality/transgenderism:

Leviticus 18:22
‘You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.’

An abomination is the word God uses for the sins He considers the worst.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Romans 1:26-27
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1 Timothy 1:10
The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

1 Corinthians 7:2
‘But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.’

Hope that helps, the Bible speaks for itselfMany blessings & shalom

REBUKING

8/28/19
Hi PD,
Wow! Thanks so much for taking the time to write a detailed response to my questions. I really appreciate it. Your response has so much wisdom in it, so I will meditate on your words for some time.
I’ve heard many conversations where a listener told a street preacher he was doing it wrong, that the preacher should be gently loving people one at a time. The preacher’s defense usually was that John the Baptist did it this way, further, that they can reach many more people talking to a group rather than to each person individually.
I even remember one preacher stating that he once spent months loving somebody giving a compassionate gospel and it didnt work ….. so he would have done more good by spending that time preaching repentance to groups.
I’ve also heard them say that proud sinners need tough love and open rebuke, whereas other less arrogant sinners may need more one on one compassionate love. They usually followed by saying that they share the gospel one on one in a more tender way sometimes too.
Often preachers stated that listeners doesnt know what real love is. Love is telling the truth and trying to save someone from hell, not codling their sin.
Your discussion with the gay hair cutter is a beautiful illustration of how effective a balanced, gentle, approach to sharing the gospel can be. Come to think of it, the love I felt coming through your teaching videos, in such a powerful way, is what drew me to your ministry.
Very few pastors can share the full council of God in a manner that a strong love can be perceived. It’s very difficult to do.
I believe that sharing the gospel with great love is a special gift that God has given to you PD. I hope I can learn how to do it from you.
Thank you so much for sharing with me PD.
God bless you brother,
Mark
=====

Hi Mark
It’s all about balance. Those who go on the streets with signs that say “REPENT SINNERS WILL GO TO HELL” is not walking in Christ, even though their hearts intentions may be good. Yeshua didn’t do that. He loved on people first, then corrected them.
If we correct them but the person doesn’t know we have love for them, what will it accomplish?
It is our roles to administer freedom to people through the Holy Spirit, by showing them their value and purpose in God. Instead of just pointing out the trash, pull out the treasure so they can see who they are, so they can live as they ought to live. Then we can start correcting in patience and kindness.
A homosexual is just someone who doesn’t know who they are and how valuable they are in the sight of God. If we show them that, they will turn from their sin.
They will not turn just because we tell them it’s wrong according to our Bible and they are going to hell. They are turning through us showing them we are different, in that even though we might not approve of their lifestyle, that won’t come in our way of showing them kindness and love.
A few months ago, I got a gay hairdresser when I went for a haircut here in the USA. I could have gone forth to tell him he should stop acting like a woman. Instead, I didn’t mention it, because I didn’t need to (there are cases where this can be mentioned, but there is a time and place for everything). Instead, I started telling him my story of how God called me to the USA, the miracles God has been doing in my life in the past few months, how God delivered me from past sins, how God showed me my value and purpose.
The man’s mouth was hanging open at my stories. At the end of the conversation he said: “Do you think you know when someone is about to give everything over to God?” I said I can take a good guess usually, and then he said: “Maybe I should.”
In that specific encounter, I didn’t need to point out the fact that he is in sin. He already knew it very well and knew my position. I know this because he had a little uncomfortably in the beginning when I said I’m a minister of the gospel. He expected me to hate him, instead I showed him grace.
Isn’t that what the thief on the cross expected from Yeshua? Instead, Yeshua showed Him grace.
Grace doesn’t mean we let sin fly, it means we don’t tell people to repent BEFORE we’ve shown them we actually care about them. That is the pattern we see with Yeshua and the sinners. He was around them and hanged out with them (to the point of being accused of being a sinner Himself), and in the midst of it, He would tell them to turn because it’s not who they are.

Hope that helps
Blessings

PD,

I read your email again this morning to try and gain some clarity. It contains much wisdom.

You mentioned praying to God for guidance, and giving a demonstration of love to a sinner. I’m struggling with defining love.

One teaching is telling me to focus on the plank in my eye, take my own moral inventory, clean up my side of the street, not warning or correcting others. Focus on the good in others and ignore the bad. Don’t stand up against others’ sin. Let God deal with them. This way of living brings the most peace with the world.

Another teaching is telling me that love is speaking boldly, warning others of their sin against God and need for repentance, regardless if they are going to hate me for doing so. So many scriptures promote rebuking others if they are living contrary to the Word of God.

Homosexuals are pronouncing publicly that they are accepted by God and proudly promoting the goodness of their lifestyle. I get angry when I feel like they are pushing it on the world, promoting evil as good. I have heard that keeping quiet is cowardly, and trying to be friends with the world, which God warns against.

I have a choice to make. Do I challenge and rebuke sinners, make righteous judgement, or keep quiet, walk away, abstaining from judgement, or perhaps find some middle ground?

I’m praying for guidance, meditating, and seeking Godly council on this matter.

Im praying that God removes any home mold or other obstruction in your path to continuing your valuable ministry.

God bless you PD,
Mark

Message: PD,
Im new to your teachings and have been studying your videos. The world and mainstream christianity teaches that God created homosexuals, and transgenders, and it’s an acceptable lifestyle to God. Im trying to determine the truth on this matter. I couldnt find any of your teachings on the topic. You know the bible so well so I was hoping that you can share your understanding of God’s view on the topic. Help!

Pharisees couldn’t keep the law because they were trying to do so by their own power because they didn’t have the Holy Spirit.

The scripture is quite clear to me that Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of sin by His Holy Spirit. His grace is not given so we can continue in sin but rather to free us from it. Salvation is conditional upon our repentance and living holy, but we can do it with the power of the Holy Spirit. With this understanding, all the following scriptures make sense.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but it’s end is the way of death.
Prov 14:12 & 16:25
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1John 4:4
Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
1John 3:6
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil
1John 3:8
Whoever has been born of God does not sin
1John 3:9
If we our sins, He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness
1John 1:9
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:3-4
Be holy, for I am holy.
1Peter 1:14-16
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment.
Hebrews 10:26
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1Cor 10:13
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Mat 5:48
God commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness.
ACTS 17:30-31
Unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
LUKE 13:3
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things pass away. All things become new.
You must be born again to see the kingdom of God.

On the other hand, if I take the lukewarm Christian perspective, which is pervasive in mega churches throughout the country, that all

The Joel Osteen Gospel
Christians are imperfect, with a sinful nature, so can’t help sinning every day, can’t obey God, but they’re all going to heaven anyway because Jesus loves them unconditionally, and by grace forgives them for all sins past, present & future. God wants you to be rich, so lay up for yourselves much treasure on earth, enjoy your sin, and just try to be a good person. Name it and claim it. Think positive and smile a lot.

……….. then none of the above scriptures make any sense.

There were great men of the Bible, like Job and Jonah, that sinned very little, and I know men living today who are filled with the Holy Spirit that rarely ever sin, but it’s a narrow path, few find it.

I did a search for ‘fear God’ in the Bible and it came up 71 times. ‘Respect God’ was found zero times, so I believe exactly what it says, as distasteful as it sounds, that we are to love and fear God.

To me ‘fear God’ just means get serious about seeking God, doing His will and obeying Him. He didn’t send His son so we could ignore Him and live however we want.

AA roots
Dr. Bob said A.A.’s basic ideas came from the Bible. Dr. Bob and Bill each stated quite often that Jesus’s sermon on the mount contained the underlying spiritual philosophy of A.A. And Dr. Bob often read to AAs from those Bible passages. He pointed out that the A.A. slogans “First Things First” and “Easy Does It” were taken respectively from Matthew 6:33 and 6:34 in the Sermon.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Mathew 6:33-34

========

When someone asked Dr. Bob a question about the A.A. program, his usual response was: “What does it say in the Good Book?” He declared that A.A. pioneers were “convinced that the answer to their problems was in the Good Book.” He added: “To some of us older ones, the parts we found absolutely essential were the Sermon on the Mount, the 13th chapter of First Corinthians, and the Book of James.” In fact, Bill Wilson said that James was so popular with the pioneers that many favored calling the A.A. fellowship “The James Club” [Pass It On, p. 147].

The Biblical emphasis in A.A.’s Akron Group Number One involved much more than the points just covered.. Akron meetings opened with prayer. As mentioned, they were called “old fashioned prayer meetings.” Bible devotionals such as The Upper Room, My Utmost for His Highest, and The Runner’s Bible were regular fare at the meetings–-and also in individual Quiet Times, and Quiet Times with Anne Smith each morning at the Smith home. Quiet Time itself had distinct Biblical roots.

Almost invariably, Scripture was regularly read at meetings. In addition, Scripture passages, both from devotionals and from the Good Book itself, were often the fountainhead for topics discussed at pioneer meetings. Bible study was particularly stressed for all. Dr. Bob called every meeting of early A.A. a “Christian Fellowship;” and early A.A. was in fact a constituent part of “A First Century Christian Fellowship.” As has been detailed in my many titles, every single Twelve Step idea can be traced to specific Bible verses and segments read or quoted in early A.A.. Furthermore, early Akron AAs were required to “Surrender.” This meant accepting on one’s knees Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Older members then prayed with newcomers in the manner specified in James 5:16.

And how did all such Bible material wind up in A.A.? Certainly not from, nor properly described as traveling through, Bill Wilson. It was the daily grist of the Akron experimental work to deliver drunks. Particularly the work in the summer of 1935 and often thereafter where Bill Wilson actually was in attendance.

There is a final point. One that really marks the beginning of the Akron Genesis. The details were only recently unearthed in my research. My focus has been on Christian Endeavor, the world-wide Christian church movement for youth, to which Dr. Bob belonged as a youngster. That movement, its practices, and principles can be seen as having great impact on many of the basic and unique aspects of Akron A.A.. These special Akron features differed substantially from the Oxford Group approaches and principles with which Bill Wilson had been indoctrinated on the East Coast. They did not involve the Four Absolutes, nor the 5 C’s, nor “Restitution,” nor “Guidance,” nor “sharing for witness,” nor other distinctly Oxford Group ideas with which Bob and Bill were both familiar from their respective Oxford Group connections.

The Akron prayer meetings, Bible studies, discussions from devotional literature, confessions of Christ, encouragement as to church affiliation and Christian outreach were a distinct characteristic of the Akron program. They were not emphasized in New York. They seemingly demonstrate a powerful Christian Endeavor influence on Dr. Bob–particularly because he specifically mentioned his Christian Endeavor membership and because that movement began as a unique product of Dr. Bob’s own New England area [See Francis E. Clark, Christian Endeavor in All Lands; Amos R. Wells, Expert Endeavor: A Text-book of Christian Endeavor Methods and Principles].

The Basic Biblical Tools of the Pioneers’ Program

And of what did their basic program consist? They had the Bible, and they had the Oxford Group principles. These they studied and incorporated into their very simple spiritual program of recovery. They usually hospitalized the newcomer, shared their victories with him, left him with only a Bible for reading, and had him surrender to God before he was discharged, after only a few days of hospitalization. They usually handed him a copy of The Upper Room. Then they introduced him to others. He was counseled by Dr. Bob and by Anne. Each morning, he attended Quiet Times led quite early each day by Anne Smith at the Smith Home in Akron where there was regular Bible study, prayer, and requests for God’s guidance. At these extended sessions, Anne Smith shared ideas from her spiritual journal and invited discussion of the topics. The pioneers and their families had other meetings each day. And they had a regular “Oxford Group” meeting twice each week (one as a set-up meeting). They were encouraged to attend church and have religious affiliations. Quiet Time was a “must.” The Bible was stressed for reading. They opened their meetings with prayer, then read Scripture, then had discussions on how to live according to biblical principles, then surrendered to Jesus Christ if they had not already done so, were informed about newcomers still needing help, then closed with the Lord’s Prayer, and fellowshipped with each other. They did observe some of the basic Oxford Group life-changing practices, known as the Five C’s, usually with Dr. Bob. And they often stayed in the homes of Dr. Bob and Anne (and several others in the Akron area) until they were well enough to sally forth.

Sharing: As we become more sensitive to others, we soon learn that it’s very difficult to tell another person he or she is wrong. Even when we struggle to be kind and diplomatic, we can provoke an angry reaction.

We should not be surprised, because showing people they’re wrong is one of the most difficult things in human experience. Few people like to be told that they’re wrong, as we can see when our wrongs are advertised to others.

There is almost no way to directly tell people they’re wrong without hurting or offending them. Furthermore, if they are hurt or offended, they might feel less inclined to work to correct their behavior.

If we’ve taken the Twelve Step principles to heart, however, we learn first that we are usually not required to tell anybody that he or she is wrong. But we can help people simply by relating accounts of situations when we were wrong and what we did to change. If done properly, this gives the other person the opportunity to change without feeling resentment or humiliation.

I’ll try to be as sensitive as possible to the feelings of others. I’ll be especially careful about trying to show them that they’re wrong.

OUR MISSION

Believers today have the very same mission given to us! We are obligated to share the gospel message, the way to heaven, to others in the world, and we go about that mission with the Holy Spirit living inside us, guiding us as we share His truth.

We are obligated to tell people the only way to be forgiven is through faith. Jesus said in John 8:24, “If you do not believe that I am (God), you will indeed die in your sins.” This is the very core of the gospel message and the very heart of what we are to explain to the world. It was Jesus’ last command to His followers before He physically left the earth—carry forward the message of hope and save as many as will believe in Him.

Jesus preached a crucial message about forgiving our brothers, as God forgave us. We stand in grace, and He expects us to keep our hearts pure toward others, not holding grudges or harboring a spirit of unforgiveness, especially after He gave us such undeserved love and forgiveness at such a high personal cost to Himself!

Jesus said those who have been forgiven much, love much (Luke 7:47).

He expects us to forgive others 70 times 7 times (Matthew 18:22). We are also told that if we are praying but hold something against anyone, we are to forgive that person so our relationship with God is right and righteous!

Colossians 3:13 says, “Forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

We know we are His if we love our brothers and don’t hate them or have unforgiveness in our hearts (1 John 2:3-6; 3:14-19; 4:16-21).

Forgiveness is a key to showing we indeed have eternal life inside us,
according to these passages. If we say we love God but hate our brother, we are liars and no truth is in us.

So, our forgiveness of others is a major indicator of true fellowship with God.

God looks at the heart and actions, not mere words. Jesus stated while on earth, “These people come near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”

So, it’s important we have a living, genuine faith: “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers” (1 John 3:14).

TRUTHS

The Bible is not an individual’s guide to self-help; it’s not a tract aimed to deliver person’s from their privatized plight. It’s a community book that tells the story of how God chose Abraham, redeemed his offspring from Egypt, and created a new Israel by means of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Under the old covenant, God’s arrangement with Israel was different than today. The blessings of Israel were generally physical in nature. They included military prowess, national security, fertile soil, and so on. By contrast, the blessings of the new covenant are generally spiritual in nature.

Christ died for the sin of the world. He took our punishment so we wont have to go to hell. We broke God’s laws and Jesus paid the fine so God can give us everlasting life if we repent from our sin and put our trust in Jesus.

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped around their knees.” Charles Spurgeon

True love is intolerant of evil, rebukes, chastens

If I love blacks I don’t tolerate the kkk, if I love children I don’t tolerate pedophiles, if I love God I don’t tolerate sin

Hell is full of people that Jesus loves

Anyone who says that they can’t live above sin is saying that sin is bigger than what Jesus did on the cross, and they don’t believe what God says ‘that without holiness no man will see the Lord’, and are calling God a liar

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, is to hate evil, causes us to depart from evil,

God is perfectly just in sending sinners to hell because they deserve it, Jesus called them serpents and vipers

Sinners are not victims, but are criminals, rebels, enemies of God, sinners hate God

God’s mercy is always conditional

God is a God of love, mercy, judgement and wrath.

Sinners or saints, wicked or righteous

The Jesus of the Bible is holy, righteous and judgmental

Jesus will return with mighty angels and flaming fire taking vengeance on all those who do not know God and obey the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ

God shows His love, not by accepting you and your sin, but by rebuking you and your sin – it’s called tough love

The devil hates you, and came to steal, kill and destroy

Dinasours in the Bible Job chap 40

God has a holy hatred towards sinners.

God won’t cast your sin into hell, He will cast the sinner into hell

Evolution espouses that everything came from nothing

Jesus didn’t die to save you in your sin, but to save you from your sin

You can’t get saved without faith, and faith comes by hearing the word of God, and you can’t hear the word of God without a preacher

The way Jesus shows his love for hell bound hypocrites is by rebuking them in their sin and encouraging them to repent.

PROSPERITY GOSPEL

(at best Superficial Christianity, at worst a lie from the pits of hell)
Religious ponzi scheme, heretic hucksters cruising private jets, opulent living, false gospel preying on the weak and vulnerable, preaching physical Christianity (not spiritual Christianity) that God is a genie, Christ on a cross is a stage prop, prosperity gospel has gone viral. Focus on God’s blessings rather than God, preoccupation with the creation rather than the creator (idolatry) .

Stop trying so hard to call out these false teachers instead focus on gently leading their followers to Christ. Many of us pray (or at least think) the prayer of the Pharisee—“Thank you God for not making me like them!” (Luke 18:9–14)—when we should be heartbroken so many are blinded and led astray from Christ’s flock.
Start sharing the gospel with people, one on one, patiently explaining why Jesus is better than any promise of earthly prosperity.
The prosperity theology in Africa has replaced the true gospel of salvation. This is happening in what once were mainstream evangelical circles. Everywhere, especially on radio and television, almost all you hear is this message about how God in Christ wants us to be physically healthy and materially prosperous and exclude teaching about sin and repentance. Salvation has now become deliverance from sickness and poverty. It is temporal rather than eternal. This erroneous teaching is filling churches across the continent with people who have no desire for true biblical salvation or godliness. Sadly, it’s spreading like an uncontrollable bushfire.

The true Gospel is primarily about salvation from sin and being sanctified into the image of Christ. Instead of admiring true men of God, Christians are instead admiring the few individuals with big houses, flashy cars and clothes, even when they are living in sin.

The prosperity theology scam teaches that health and wealth are granted by a God genie when blind followers rub the magic lamp, pray, and plant a financial “seed” to the so-called “men of God billionaires” who sit on top of the pyramid scheme. This false teaching is wreaking havoc in the lives of many Christians.

Leader’s of the movement, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meirs, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, TD Jakes,

This lie promises much but delivers nothing that can truly satisfy the soul.

JOB – the Prosperity Twist
The twisted prosperity interpretation of Job is that Satan attacked Job to take away his riches only to have God reverse those attacks and turn them into blessings.

NO. It’s about a man whose faithfulness to God was tested and who, although he didn’t understand the reasons for his losses, never doubted the goodness of God (Job 13:15).
It’s about a man who loved God even though he lost all his earthly belongings and children. It’s about suffering (Job 1:13–22).
The story is really about God. It’s about a God whose thoughts are higher than ours (Isa. 55:8–9).
It’s about a God who gives and takes away according to his knowledge (Job 1:21).
It’s about a God whose ways we cannot fully grasp (Job 38). It’s about a God we can trust, even when we lose all things.

“Prosperity Gospel” teaches that God wants believers to be physically healthy, materially wealthy, and personally happy. They hope to become rich through believing, confessing, and visualizing.
Insisting that right living, right believing, and right confessing would obligate God to do as we desired. This sandy edifice now crumbled in light of Scripture: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (Eph. 2:8).
My desire for health and wealth lost its sway. I desired Jesus

Enthralled by Christ, who bids his own to “take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23), I now felt that “the sufferings of the present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Rom. 8:18).

God wants to bless us with more than health, wealth, and personal success. He doesn’t offer the nicest house in the neighborhood; he offers hope in the resurrection when we forego personal power (Matt. 5:5). He doesn’t offer “supernatural favor” from others, but instead offers God’s eternal favor when we’re despised on his account (Matt. 5:10-12).

Under the new covenant, it is the Spirit who is our blessing (Eph. 1:3; Gal. 3:14), not material opulence or unfettered security. In fact, those who have the Spirit are promised hardship until Christ returns (John 16:33; 2 Tim. 3:13). The Lord may increase our territory, but he also may bless us by taking it away.
God doesn’t promise he will remove every thorn (2 Cor. 12:7)—thus Scripture is bereft of any guarantee of health and wealth. But he does promise that every prayer offered in faith will be answered with the comfort Christ gives in the Holy Spirit. This is how we experience God’s blessing in a fallen world. And this is a far more glorious gift than silver, gold, or even a few more years of life in a fallen world.

Suffering Absence
Suffering is God’s gift to train our eyes on the infinite treasure we have in Christ.
The Christian, of all people, should know that suffering is part of the Christian life (Jn. 15:20; Phil 1:29). We follow a Savior who was crucified after all! The prosperity thinking has shaped our thinking to see that suffering is an intrusion in our lives. “Why is this happening? How could God let this happen?” These are questions that operate from a position of privilege and frankly, biblical ignorance. It is happening because we live in a fallen, broken world. But, it is also happening because God uses suffering to strengthen and sanctify his people. He makes us more like Jesus through our suffering (Jam. 1:2-4; Rom. 5:3-5; 1 Pet. 1:6-9; Heb. 5.7; etc.). Far from an intrusion, suffering is an instrument from God for our good and his glory. How do you view suffering?

Look out for the absence of a serious doctrine of the biblical necessity and normalcy of suffering — the absence of a doctrine of suffering. As Paul went through the churches, he said that basic discipleship was to teach that you must enter the kingdom through many tribulations (Acts 14:21). Is this basic doctrinal teaching in the church? Tribulations are necessary, and there are many, and you must walk through them.

Deny Yourself Absence
Watch out for the absence of a clear and prominent doctrine of self-denial — a tip-off that something is amiss. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). Paul said, “If you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live” (Romans 8:13). “I count everything as loss, because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:8).In other words, normal progress in the Christian life comes by saying “No!” to lesser values and “Yes!” to Christ. Many of those lesser values are the kinds of pleasures that prosperity preachers don’t like to say no to. So is there a good doctrine of self-denial?
Exorbitant Lifestyles
Do the church leaders have exorbitant lifestyles? Do they drive cars, live in houses, wear clothes, and travel to places to which only the very wealthy can go or that only the very wealthy can possess? Is the pastor living above the average person in his parish? Now why might that be? And I know that there might be cultural and traditional reasons for it, but are there biblical reasons for it? Try to sniff that out.“Is the preacher in love with the glory of God in the gospel? What makes this pastor tick? Why is he so concerned with the clothes he wears and the car he drives and the neighborhood he lives in and the way he travels and the accommodations he gets in his traveling? This doesn’t smell like the Jesus who had no place to lay his head (Matthew 8:20).
Too Much Self
Is there a prominence of self and a marginalization of the greatness of God? Does the preacher seem to parade himself? Does he figure into the talk too much? Is the greatness and majesty and glory of God the centerpiece of all he says and does? Is the preacher in love with the glory of God in the gospel? Is he brokenhearted for his sin? Is he contrite and humble? Is he publicly self-effacing? Does he repent of his sins and model how to appropriate daily the sweetness of what Jesus did for us on the cross? Or is the majesty of grace marginalized while he exalts himself? So those would be some of the things I would watch out for in trying to discern where a church may be going off in relationship to the prosperity gospel.

1. Abrahamic Covenant – the Prosperity Twist
The Abrahamic covenant (Gen. 12, 15, 17, 22) is one of the theological foundations of the prosperity gospel.

They incorrectly view the inception and application of the covenant.

The prosperity gospel teaches that the primary purpose of the Abrahamic covenant was for God to bless Abraham materially. Since believers are now Abraham’s spiritual children, we have inherited these financial blessings.

Kenneth Copeland wrote in his 1974 book The Laws of Prosperity,

“Since God’s covenant has been established and prosperity is a provision of this covenant, you need to realize that prosperity belongs to you now!”

To support this claim, prosperity teachers appeal to Galatians 3:14, which refers to “the blessings of Abraham [that] come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus.

These teachers ignore the second half of the Galatians 3:14 verse: “that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Paul is clearly reminding the Galatians of the spiritual blessing of salvation, not the material blessing of wealth.

Charles Spurgeon said, “I believe that it is anti-Christian and unholy for any Christian to live with the object of accumulating wealth.

2. Jesus’ Atonement – Prosperity Twist

The prosperity twist says that Jesus’ atonement extends to the “sin” of material poverty.
Prosperity gospel claims that “both physical healing and financial prosperity have been provided for in the atonement.”

Kenneth Copeland states:

“the basic principle of the Christian life is to know that God put our sin, sickness, disease, sorrow, grief, and poverty on Jesus at Calvary.”

This misunderstanding of the scope of the atonement stems from two errors prosperity gospel proponents make.

A: First error – many who espouse prosperity theology have a fundamental misconception of the life of Jesus. For example, teacher John Avanzini proclaimed on a TBN program, Jesus had “a nice house,” “a big house,” “Jesus was handling big money,” and he even “wore designer clothes.” It’s easy to see how such a warped view of the life of Christ

B: Second error that leads to a faulty view of the atonement is misinterpreting
2 Corinthians 8:9, which reads, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.”

A shallow reading of this verse may lead one to believe Paul was teaching about an increase in material wealth, a contextual reading reveals he was actually teaching the exact opposite principle.

Indeed, Paul was teaching the Corinthians that since Christ accomplished so much for them through the atonement, they should empty themselves of their riches in service of the Savior. This is why just five short verses later Paul would urge the Corinthians to give their wealth away to their needy brothers, writing “that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack” (2 Cor. 8:14).

3. Giving – The Prosperity Twist
One of the most striking characteristics of the prosperity theologians is their fixation on the act of giving.

The driving force behind this teaching on giving is what prosperity teacher Robert Tilton referred to as the “Law of Compensation.” According to this law—purportedly based on Mark 10:30—Christians should give generously to others because when they do, God gives back more in return. This, in turn, leads to a cycle of ever-increasing prosperity.

As Gloria Copeland put it in her 2012 book, God’s Will is Prosperity,

“Give $10 and receive $1,000; give $1,000 and receive $100,000.

The prosperity gospel’s doctrine of giving is built on faulty motives.

Jesus taught his disciples to “give, hoping for nothing in return” (Luke 6:35), but Prosperity theologians teach their disciples to give to get a great return.

4. Faith – the Prosperity Twist
Whereas the Bible teaches faith to be trust in Jesus Christ, the prosperity gospel teaches that faith is a humanly wrought spiritual force directed at God chiefly as a means for material gain rather than justification before God.

5. Prayer – the Prosperity Twist
Prosperity gospel preachers encourage us to pray for personal success in all areas of life.

Creflo Dollar writes,

“When we pray, believing that we have already received what we are praying for, God has no choice but to make our prayers come to pass. . . . It is a key to getting results as a Christian.”

The prosperity gospel turns prayer into a tool believers can use to force God to grant man’s desires.

The prosperity theology makes man, not God, the focal point of prayer.

Prosperity preachers ignore the second half of James’s teaching on prayer:

“You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions” (James. 4:3).

God does not answer selfish requests that do not honor his name.

The prosperity gospel focuses on man’s desires which lead to selfish, shallow, superficial prayers that don’t bring God glory.

The prosperity gospel has a fundamentally flawed relationship between God and man where grace is obsolete, God is irrelevant, and man is the measure of all things.

Prosperity Gospel Summary

Whether talking about the Abrahamic covenant, the atonement, giving, faith, or prayer, prosperity teachers turn the relationship between God and man into a quid pro quo transaction.

God is “reduced to a ‘cosmic bellhop’ attending to the needs and desires of his creation.”

A false gospel—the prosperity gospel, sweeping across continents, is a dangerous lie wrapped in a covering of religion. Those affected by it are being led away from God’s good news to a man-centred deception.

Paul took nothing more seriously than the danger of a different gospel. Nothing is more serious; our souls depend on it.

How could we make sense of Paul himself falling sick (Gal. 4:13) and yet rejoicing in his afflictions (2 Cor. 12:10)?

How can we continue to reconcile this portrait with modern “super-apostles” who market health and wealth in their books, DVDs, and mega-meetings?

LATIN AMERICA PROSPERITY
In Latin America, prosperity theology is not just a system of belief, but the culture in which we live. Most well-known Spanish-speaking Christian artists have backgrounds in prosperity theology. TV shows and movies promote a culture of consumerism and so do the “Christian” television channels. Books written and sold advocate this theology. And of course, the works of many false teachers from the United States have been translated into Spanish.
Formerly, you had to do evangelism mainly among Catholics, showing them how the true gospel is so much better than works-based attempts at salvation. But more and more evangelism has turned into an effort to preach the gospel to those who subscribe to some kind of prosperity gospel, showing them how Jesus is so much better than the riches of this world.

Old-school Pentecostals (many of whom don’t adhere to the prosperity gospel) are easy to spot in my home country. Women wear long skirts, no makeup, and no earrings. Men wear colored suits and matching ties on 100-degree days. They’re also typified by a propensity toward street evangelism (which the Lord has mightily used to increase the numbers of Protestants). In recent decades a new wave of Pentecostalism has swept through the old denominations. Usually referred to as neo-Pentecostals, they’ve modernized many of the practices of the old denomination while maintaining the emphasis on what they consider to be manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
It is through this neo-Pentecostalism that the prosperity gospel has taken root in Latin America.
MEGA CHURCHES
The presence of and trend toward megachurches has led some smaller churches to be converted into “franchises” of larger ones. Many of the poorly-trained pastors leading the smaller congregations may not be in full agreement with what the big corporation teaches, but they’re glad to be economically supported and to become part of their numerical/financial success. In all likelihood, those claiming to be “apostles” at the top of the chain will never visit the small franchises (and because of the peculiarities of the Third World, livestreaming is not a common practice). But they tell the pastors what to preach, train them in their teaching institutions, and change the brand of the smaller church to make it a “daughter” of the big one. This has also helped to propagate false teaching.
The message usually goes like this: “God wants you to be well and happy, but you’re sick and miserable. Why? Well, the devil, of course! So what can you do? You call out to God, bring him your offerings (how else can you show him how much you care?)—and declare who he is, who you are, and how small the devil really is.”
REFORMED
Reformed churches. And due to the Pentecostal’s evangelistic zeal and the prevalence of prosperity teaching in the culture, many of those who are now Reformed used to believe in some form of prosperity teaching.
Though the young, restless, Reformed movement is transcending cultures, it has manifested itself a bit differently here. It tends to exhibit a much more defensive posture and tone, particularly as it relates to the prosperity gospel. Christians are certainly called in Scripture to expose false teaching, but not to obsess over it.
A quick look at the social media feeds of many—if not most—who identify as Reformed will reveal a prevalence of tweets and blogs about prosperity gospel teachers and their latest scandals. Such things are commonly pointed out in the pulpit to an unhelpful degree. I’m relieved whenever I find pastors regularly expounding the whole counsel of God without resorting to namecalling.

True gospel Scriptures that your big church or TV pastor won’t preach because if they did, 90% of their income would vanish over night. They couldn’t pay the bills and would have to get a real job.

Following Jesus ain’t easy ….. denying the flesh, persecution…..

False Teachers
