Here’s my honest review of the Saatva Classic Luxury Firm Queen Mattress 11.5″ after sleeping on it for five years. I can only give it a two star rating and I’ll explain why.

The first mattress I received was defective straight out of the box. There was an obvious manufacturing defect in plain view. It took me a while to notice it but they replaced the mattress with a new one.

There is no edge support. When you sit on the edge you will sink to the floor. Initially the mattress was comfortable but soft. After about a year it started sagging in the middle and each year it became progressively worse. You can see the sag in my picture. It gives no support now.

It would be much better just to sleep on firm foam on the floor and I would have saved a lot of money.

 It cost over $1,000 so I expected it would las longer. I wish I had never purchased it. Now the mattress is very uncomfortable and I can’t wait to get rid of it.

I tried to leave a mattress review on Saatva.com website to share my honest experience but apparently saatva is not accepting any new mattress reviews.

I give it a two star rating because I survived it for several years before it got really bad!
